i have no idea why i signed up for a blog over there. it could be i was
feeling frustrated and frugal at the moment and wanted to save some money. after all the blog was free and that's
always good, right? it could be that i was monkeying with my blog and i
couldn't get it the way i wanted. which is to say, i didn't know how exactly how i
wanted it to look, just that i wanted it different and interesting. and all the
manipulating with typepad just got me annoyed so i thought: go for one
that is free and maybe working from one of their shiny new templates
might just be the ticket. thing is, i want to migrate my posts over and i don't know if that is possible. and in doing this does it become a not free blog, but
one that costs the same as the one i want to turf? but is it worth the
costs because i get to don it with a bunch of shiny new coats that simply appeal
to my aesthetic more?
365 is another issue. the pictures are all cut off and not centred. what's the deal with that? right now i don't feel like trolling through the reams of similar queries (that often have nothing to do with my concern) to find out how to fix it. frankly, it looks like shit. and that bugs me even more.
the jury is currently out, because i am waiting for answer from the
blog.com people about the workability of my request, until then, i'm
just trying out new coats. i think i have an old wordpress blog kickin' around somewhere as well as a blogger, but there was something that i didn't like about either of them. that was a long time ago and the issue of importing blog posts never presented itself.
so i tried on a few snazzy new coats, but discovered they had awkward buttons and pockets i couldn't find. that sort of thing drives me to distraction. what's the point? i'm no fashion plate anyway. who was i kidding. so, i'm just going to stay here for now and make the old worn jacket work until i have the patience and where with all to make myself a new nice pretty jacket that fits and is worth the cost.
